Heard over an AM radio station while cruising along EDSA:

. . . a job opening announcement for a "kitchen help" with the following qualifications: between 18 and 25 years old; with pleasing personality; speaks English well ; can make a salad.

. . . a seaman who committed suicide in a motel room, leaving a suicide note where he expressed exasperation over rich relatives who refused to help his family, among other things, and a plea to make a movie out of his life, to be topbilled by Richard Gomez. :-)
