c'mon bernie

This is Dippy, one of the (three) greatest loves of my life. She's seen here playing this morning with Bernie, our first dog. We bought her in Clark. The seller said she was a St. Bernard. Papa Dens named her Bernie, thinking all the while that she was a male until a trip to the vet showed that she was not. Until this morning, Dippy was so scared of Bernie (for more than a month we had been telling her not to play with Bernie yet because we did not know then if she was already rabies-free) and so Dippy thought it was not right for her to play with Bernie. Good thing we had the leash. At least now she's comfortable with Bernie. Dippy's other pets are/were: parakeets named Larry (as in "Larry Bird" - corny noh?) and Moira, whom we had more than one year ago and who have not produced a single egg; six goldfish -- all gone, meaning "dead na"; rabbits named Fiona and Cottonball, about 5 months old, who now refuse to live in their cage because the grass is greener at the vacant lot beside our house. What's next? Hmmm..... Let's wait for Dani.
